Representativeness of the Arosa/Davos Measurements for the Analysis of the Global Total Column Ozone Behavior

The study investigates the representativeness of total column ozone (TCO) measurements from ground-based instruments located at Arosa/Davos stations in Switzerland to analyze global layer behavior past and future. statistical analysis satellite model data showed a high correlation TCO with near-global northern hemisphere annual mean for 1980–2018 period. Addition as proxy set standard explanatory variables multiple linear regression allows estimating 1926 up present day. We demonstrate that real-time homogeneity level time series are also beneficial quick estimates future recovery.
